I wasn’t always an entrepreneur. Growing up we didn’t have much. I watched my parents sacrifice their physical health for me and my siblings. Both my parents are disabled and they took on demanding blue collar jobs which further destroyed their bodies. It was hard to watch them come home in pain day after day. All I could do was to  think of ways I could make money to help the family.

In middle school, I really wanted to buy a Playstation Portable (PSP). I couldn’t afford a new one, so I bought a broken one on eBay for $50. I took it apart by following guides on forums and before I knew it, I was buying broken laptops, fixing them, and reselling them. Since then, I’ve been on a mission to learning everything I could about how to build successful businesses.

What you wouldn’t now is I started my career in venture capital because I wanted to learn the secrets to building a successful company from successful entrepreneur-turned-investors. There, I learned the art of storytelling and lots of knowledge on how to build. But I wasn’t doing any of the building! So was I really learning?

For the past few years, I’ve been on a mission on cracking the code on how to build an online company. And I realized something. Every time I spoke with people about entrepreneurship, my heart was in encouraging and sharing valuable business lessons to beginner entrepreneurs. I know how hard it is to build a business and I know how easy it is to quit! I believe my greatest calling is to inspire and provide know-how on what it takes to build a successful business.
